0.5mg, 1mg, 2mg
Indications/Special comments:
Oedema due to heart failure, hepatic disease, or renal impairment.
Dosage Administration:
Adults: 0.5 –2mg/day given in 1 – 2 doses; titrate to desired response (maximum daily dose = 10mg/day). Infants and Children: 0.015 – 0.1mg/kg/dose every 6 – 24 hrs (maximum: 10mg/day). Neonates: 0.01 – 0.05mg/kg/dose every 12 – 24 hrs in term neonates or every 24 – 48 hrs in preterm neonates.
