Indications/Special comments: For treatment of potassium depletion
Dosage Administration: Adult: for prevention of hypokalaemia: Oral: 2 - 4g daily by mouth in patients taking normal diet. Smaller doses must be used if there is renal insufficiency (common in the elderly) otherwise there is danger of hyperkalaemia.
