Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6)

Indications/Special comments:
For prevention and treatment of pyridoxine deficiency states that may occur as a result of inadequate nutrition or intestinal malabsorption. It is also used as antidote in cyclosporin poisoning and to terminate seizures and prevent neuropathy associated with isoniazid poisoning.
Dosage Administration:
Drug induced deficency: IM or IV: 50 to 200mg per day for three weeks, followed by 25 to 100mg per day as needed.
