Dosage Administration:
Bronchospasm- Children: IV Ephedrine sulfate: 0.75mg/kg or 25mg/m2 4 times daily or as otherwise determined by patient’s response. IM Ephedrine sulfate: 0.5mg/kg or 16.7mg/m² every 4 – 6 hours. SC Ephedrine sulfate: 0.5mg/kg or 16.7mg/m² every 4 – 6 hours; alternatively, 0.75mg/kg or 25mg/m² 4 times daily or as otherwise determined by patient’s response.

Indications/Special comments:
Topical prophylaxis of neonatal conjunctivitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis. It is also used in the topical treatment of superficial ocular infections of the conjunctiva and/or cornea caused by susceptible organisms.
Dosage Administration:
Adult and Child: Ocular infection: Topical to the conjunctiva: a thin strip (approximately 1cm) of ointment up to six times a day, depending on the severity of the infection. Neonatal conjunctivitis/Ophthalmia neonatorum: Topical to each conjunctiva: a thin strip (approximately 0.5 to 1cm) of ointment as a single dose following caesarean or vaginal delivery.

Prevention of pregnancy. Regulation of menstrual cycle. Emergency contraception (some products). Treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding in women who choose to use intrauterine contraception as their method of contraception.Treatment of heavy menstrual bleeding in women who choose to use an oral contraceptive as their method of contraception.Treatment of premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Management of acne in women >14 yr who desire contraception, have no health problems, and have failed topical treatment. Increase folate levels in women who desire oral contraception to reduce the risk of neural tube defects in a pregnancy that occurs while taking or shortly after discontinuing the product.
Dosage Administration:
Adults: On 21-day regimen, take first tablet on first Sunday after menses begins (take on Sunday if menses begins on Sunday) for 21 days, then skip 7 days and begin again. Regimen may also be started on first day of menses, continue for 21 days, then skip 7 days and begin again. Some regimens contain 7 placebo tablets, so that 1 tablet is taken every day for 28 days

Dosage Administration:
Adult: GERD with Erosive Esophagitis: 20mg or 40mg IV injection once a day, over no less than 3 minutes; or IV infusion once a day, over no less than 10 to 30 minutes. Duodenal Ulcer Prophylaxis: -Initial dose: 80mg IV infusion over 30 minutes; Maintenance dose: 8mg/hr IV continuous infusion for a total of 72 hours (includes initial 30 minute dose plus 71.5 hours of continuous infusion). Gastric Ulcer Prophylaxis: Initial dose: 80mg IV infusion over 30 minutes; Maintenance dose: 8mg/hr IV continuous infusion for a total of 72 hours (includes initial 30 minute dose plus 71.5 hours of continuous infusion). Child: GERD with Erosive Esophagitis: Less than 1 month: Not recommended.1 month to less than 1 year: 0.5mg/kg IV infused over 10 to 30 minutes; 1 to 17 years: Less than 55 kg: 10mg IV infused over 10 to 30 minutes; 55 kg or more: 20mg IV infused over 10 to 30 minutes.
