Glimepiride

Drug Class: Insulin and Oral Antidiabetic
Dosage Form: Tablet
Strength: 1mg, 2mg, 4mg
Indications/Special comments: Management of type II diabetes mellitus (NIDDM).
Dosage Administration: Adult: initially 1mg once daily, before breakfast. If necessary the dose may be increased by 1mg at weekly intervals up to 6mg daily, according to blood glucose levels; maximum 8mg daily.
